Marshall First Step Academy is a non-profit program located in Marshall, IL. We specialize in the care and early education of children 6 weeks through 12 years, through our Childcare, Preschool/Pre-K and School-Age Programs. Marshall First Step Academy is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and participates in the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
Our Vision
At Marshall First Step, it is our vision to provide the community with a high-quality option for early
childhood care and education. Our center provides a warm, clean, caring environment where children
feel safe and loved. Marshall First Step is a place where parents feel secure leaving their children
knowing they are receiving the best possible care and education. Our highly qualified, trained teachers
are experts at caring for kids and are eager to support the healthy growth and development of every
child in our center. Classrooms are fully equipped with developmentally appropriate learning materials
and toys, beckoning children to explore and learn. Children are actively engaged daily in a variety of
both teacher-led and self-led activities. Interactions between teachers, families, and children are always
friendly and respectful. Children will leave Marshall First Step Academy with a firm grasp on basic skills
and a love of learning.
